How to approach clients with Anna Corbett of Organix.

How to approach clients with Anna Corbett of Organix.

Anna Corbett is an FMCG marketer with more than 15 years experience.

Currently looking after portfolio at Organix Brands, Anna has worked across household names including Twinings, Ovaltine, Billington’s sugar, Allinson flour, Silver Spoon, Barclays, Badger Ales and Rio soft drinks.

I met Anna when she was the Brand Marketing Manager at Badger, and she was a client of the agency I was working with at the time.

Famously everyone’s favourite client to work with in the studio, Anna has a wonderful way of offering feedback that I thought would be invaluable when it comes to an honest chat about how to approach clients.

In this episode, I ask questions like:

  • What’s the most eye-catching approach you’ve had from an agency?

  • What don’t you like about agency approaches?

  • When is a good time to get in contact with a brand decision-maker?

  • Who should the agency aim for when wanting to introduce themselves?

  • Do you prefer online or offline contact or a mixture of both?

  • We know about the 5-7 touchpoint rule before someone can recall a brand, do you think this applies to b2b relationships/ agency appointing too?

  • When thinking back to how you became aware of the agencies you’ve appointed in the past, what stood out?

Listen in for 25 minutes of insights into:

  • What clients want to hear

  • When to approach them

  • How not to introduce your agency

  • How Anna looks for her partner agencies these days.

So without further ado, over to Anna.
